Options include:

Ancillary Services include:

Our  Web based Solution offers the following benefits:-

  • independence yet it complements and does not need to replace the existing   confidential alert line & other fraud reporting / whistleblower protection systems that may or may not be already in place in the organisation
  • a secure and confidential communication with no direct human interaction removing the feeling of being interrogated which is often reported by whistleblowers
  • accessible anywhere there is an internet connection
  • coverage 24/7 365 days
  • prompt receipt of information by the board member(s), director(s) executive manager allowing them to potentially take immediate action
  • information in “raw” not interpreted format i.e. the actual words of the user of the system (“caller”)
  • relatively low cost to implement and administer
  • provision of a greater level of corporate governance
  • increased protection of brand and reputation

whereas the Web based Solution PLUS enables organisations to upgrade the web based whistleblowing or whistleblower solution to include the more "traditional" services associated with the operation of a disclosure management service.

Your-Call primarily accepts information from an employee but our service can be customised to accept information from a customer, supplier or shareholder.

We operate independently of your organisation and our processes have been bench marked inter alia against Standards Australia AS 8004-2003 "Whistleblower protection programs for entities".

FRAUD REPORTING CASE STUDY

Occupational Fraud & Abuse

A US study of 508 cases of occupational fraud totalling over $761 million in losses investigated by Certified Fraud Examiners(CFEs)  found occupational frauds were much more likely to be detected by a tip or through reporting than through other means such as internal audits, external audits, and internal controls.   Among frauds committed by owners and executives, which tend to be the most costly, over half of all cases were identified by a tip.

Confidential fraud reporting mechanisms reduce fraud losses significantly. The median loss among organizations that had anonymous reporting mechanisms was US$56,500. In organizations that did not have established reporting procedures, the median loss was more than twice as high.

While Sarbanes-Oxley only requires publicly traded companies to establish confidential fraud reporting mechanisms for employees, the study data strongly suggested that these programs should also embrace third-party sources such as customers and vendors. Among cases that were detected by a tip, 60% of the tips came from employees, 20% of the tips came from customers, 16% came from vendors, and 13% came from anonymous sources.
