Your Call’s Head of Advisory & Training, Prof Katrina A. Bramstedt, has a journal article published in eithikos, a publication of the Society for Corporate Compliance and Ethics.

Katrina states that many organisations provide cosmetic compliance programs that seemingly ‘tick the boxes’ such as a toll-free hotline, and a sleek website hosting a code of ethics. However underneath is a company with a toxic workplace whereby bullying is ignored, work-life balance is a fantasy, and “ethics” is viewed as a time and innovation impediment.

She goes on to state that a combination of ethical leadership, coaching, and training facilitate an ethical climate that promotes moral courage and ethical decision-making—a proactive rather than reactive approach to compliance.
